Everything about how Global Deal Flow works — for founders, investors, and service providers alike. Can't find it here? Reach out and we'll help directly.
Getting Started
Global Deal Flow is a discovery and networking platform connecting founders raising capital with investors sourcing deal flow, and both with the service providers who support a raise — built on Global Capital Network's investor base of 200K+.
Yes. Anyone can create a profile, browse startups and the network, follow and connect, and join events at no cost. Paid tiers unlock the full deal-flow pipeline, SAFE generator, and priority discovery.
A directory gives you a name and a contact — then you're on your own. GDF is where the whole raise happens: filtered discovery, direct messaging, a personal pipeline, document generation, and a data room, all in one place.
No — anyone can join as a Standard Member for free. Verifying as an Accredited Investor unlocks accredited-only listings and additional platform features, but isn't required to explore the network.
Yes — GDF is available on iOS and Android, with the full platform included: search, messaging, data rooms, and e-signature, not a stripped-down companion version.
Sign up with Google, LinkedIn, or email in under a minute. From there, founders can start a listing and investors can set up their profile and preferences.
For Founders
Create your account, start a new deal from your dashboard, add your company information and documents, then submit for review. See our full step-by-step guide.
Yes, submitting a listing for review is free. Some advanced tools — like priority discovery and the full SAFE generator — are part of paid tiers.
Most listings are reviewed within 1–2 business days. You'll receive an email once your listing is approved, or with specific feedback if changes are needed first.
Yes — your listing remains editable while it's in review and after it goes live. Keeping your traction and materials current helps investors take it seriously.
If specific changes are needed, we'll tell you exactly what to update and you can resubmit. In cases where a listing simply isn't a fit for the platform, we'll let you know directly — see our Quality Standards for what we look for.
Yes — the Document Creator generates signature-ready SAFE agreements and term sheets. These tools are for convenience and don't constitute legal advice; we'd still recommend counsel review anything before signing.
You control visibility — public, private, or accredited-investor-only. Only verified members can message you or request access to your data room.
Yes. Access is revocable at any time, even after a document has been viewed or downloaded, and you can see a full log of who accessed what.
For Investors
Use the Discover page to filter by stage, industry, geography, and raise size. You can save any filter combination as a standing search and get alerted to new matches.
Standard Member (free) gives you public listings and limited monthly views. Accredited Verified unlocks the full accredited-only deal catalog, unlimited views, and unrestricted messaging. A third Institutional/Qualified Purchaser tier exists for funds and family offices. See Investor Types & Accreditation.
From your investor profile, select "Verify Accreditation," choose income, net worth, or professional certification as your method, and upload supporting documentation through our secure verification partner. Most verifications complete within 1–2 business days.
Yes — save any filter combination and get notified in real time as matching deals are listed, both by email and push notification on mobile.
Message any verified founder directly from their listing or profile — no forwarded intros or gatekeepers. Group chats are also available for syndicate or co-investor conversations.
Yes — the deal-flow pipeline is a personal Kanban board (reviewed, meeting, diligence, term sheet, closed) so you can track every opportunity from first look to close.
Service Providers
Firms whose work is directly relevant to raising or investing capital — securities counsel, investment banking, accounting, fund administration, investor relations, due diligence, cap table specialists, and escrow. It's not a general business directory.
Submit your firm's credentials, categories, and relevant experience. We verify licensing, business registration, and identity, then review for fit before approving a listing. See For Service Providers.
To keep the directory sharp, select specialized categories — such as escrow or fund administration — may be offered on a limited basis to a small number of firms rather than left open to everyone.
Yes — meeting the published standards doesn't guarantee approval. GDF retains editorial discretion over which providers are listed, featured, or removed.
Trust & Verification
Every member confirms a government-issued ID and phone number before they can message other members or open a data room. A verified badge then appears on your profile.
ID verification is the baseline requirement for every member. KYC (Know Your Customer) is a deeper check — often including source-of-funds documentation — used for larger raises and accredited-only rounds.
Our published requirements for what a listing or profile needs to include, and what's prohibited — thin submissions, guaranteed-return language, and unverifiable identities are all grounds for rejection. Read the full Quality Standards.
Yes. We retain the right to refuse, suspend, or remove any listing or account, including after it's already live, if it no longer meets our standards or is reported by other members.
Data rooms are access-controlled with per-document logs and expiring links. You can revoke access at any time, even after a document has been viewed or downloaded.
Billing & Accounts
Free (Standard), Pro (individual founders and investors), and Elite (for firms and teams). See current pricing on our Pricing page.
Subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial billing periods, except where required by law. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges — see our Terms of Service for details.
Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period, and won't renew after that.
Your listing stays live, but features tied to paid tiers — like priority discovery or unlimited pipeline tracking — become unavailable until you upgrade again.
Legal & Compliance
No. GDF is not registered as a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or funding portal, and is not compensated based on whether an investment is made. See our full Disclaimer.
No. Nothing on the platform — including featured listings or search rankings — constitutes investment advice or a recommendation. Always consult independent legal, tax, and financial advisors before investing.
No. GDF is strictly a discovery and networking platform — no investment transaction is executed, processed, or settled through it. Any resulting investment happens entirely outside the platform, between the parties involved.
No. Founders are solely responsible for ensuring their offering complies with applicable securities law, including required exemptions like Regulation D. We'd recommend working with securities counsel on your specific raise.
See our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer for complete details.
Events & The GCN Network
GDF is the platform layer of Global Capital Network — the same organization behind our investor conferences and private dinners. GDF is built on GCN's investor base of 200K+.
A flagship investor conference in Newport Beach, CA, plus private investor dinners held in cities across our network worldwide. See Events & Partners.
Yes — register directly from your GDF profile. Connections made in person carry straight into your GDF network and messaging afterward.
